Y'know, as furries we can all take this quote to heart.  We're often criticized and hated on because of our hobbies, whether it's drawing our lovable fluffy or scaly characters or buying/making outfits of them to wear to conventions.  We've all probably also gotten the "Ew, you're a furry?" or similar reactions when we have revealed this fact to people or when they figure it out themselves.  I know I have, and it hurts.

But I'm also sure that we have friends that may be normies that love that we're furries and think that it's cool!  I have several normie friends like that, and they make my life so wonderful because they don't judge me for what I like to do.  Find yourself friends like these.  Find friends who love watching you improve in your art.  Find friends that listen in excitement as you tell them about the fursuit you just commissioned or that you started making.  Find friends that are always happy to see you happy and that will accept you for who you are.

This also ties in to last week's quote.  Don't change yourself to try to fit in.  Be you and speak your mind.  Those who truly love and care for you will embrace it wholeheartedly and will listen to what you have to say.
