Furry Quote #1 - Failure and Determination

In the furry community, I've noticed that it's easy for us to put ourselves down because of all the talented people involved.  We see fursuit makers that make beautiful suits, successful artists that make art so beautiful we could nearly cry, musicians, animators, the list can go on and on.  Being surrounded by this in the fandom, we can all easily say, "Wow, I wish i could do that... my [skill/talent] sucks compared to them..."  I would know, I've said it myself.

I chose this quote for the week because everyone needs a little reminder now and then.  You're only as good as you allow yourself to be.  If you see an artist you admire, work towards producing the quality of work they produce.  Don't be complacent; work for what you want, and work for it honestly.

Ask questions of those you look up to for tips and their thoughts on your work!  Ask them how you can improve!  Chances are they'll be able to help you!  If you don't work towards it, failure will overtake you, just as the quote says.  Be determined to succeed and better yourselves in all you do.
